Description:
This kit provides power in the case of load shedding and grid failures using the Victron backup system. A 3.3 kW PV solar system (see Phase 2) can later be added on to this system converting it into a grid-tie system. It has a 3 kVA battery inverter for essential loads with a 200 Ah battery backup capacity (4.8kWh, or 2.4 kWh at 50% DOD). The batteries have a cycle life of 500 cycles at 50% DOD. The system can be monitored using Victron BMV. Other communication devices are also available on request. The system have a 12 Way Distribution board with input and output circuit breakers and space available for solar connection.
